Post Process

Obviously, Photographers like to put their artistic touch on their photos. I have had a lot of questions lately on how I do it. I’m not telling. I am showing you though, a sneak preview of a before and after. Its very drastic. I shot this image in RAW. I edited it in Photoshop Raw. I basically touch it up until I like it. Sometimes they can be overdone. I keep all wedding photos as natural as possible. I try to edit posed photos to where the skin tones are washed out and the black tones are very black. Bones

Over the holiday season, I took a trip to Angola State Pen with my father-in-law and some other close friends. We got to hand out bibles to a lot of guys. It was their Christmas present from the ministry. I got to see my friend Bones again. He’s been at that prison for over 50 years. I’m going to share more of his story soon. He’s a cool guy. Everyone, meet my friend Bones.

Braelyn Barber is here! BB and Kristen had her on 12/18/08. She weighed in at 7 lbs and 1 ounce and is 19 1/2 inches long. Click on the photo to view the pictures.

Torren

My friend Torren asked me to do some portrait work for him. He wanted some photos so he could give to his family for Christmas but not with the whole Christmas theme. It was a perfect day to shoot, Nice and FREEZING! Hope you like them. Let me know what you think.

Keizer is getting large.

My german shepherd puppy is starting to get large. We have found that his tail is good for launching things, especially things that hang on Christmas Trees. Since my wife and I are new to the whole very strong tail thing, Britt has tied every ornament on there with wire. It wasn’t 5 minutes after she got done hanging them on there and Keizer gave it a really good test. First, he thought it was a new toy, and there was also a ball under there that he decided to get. Keizer got the ball and every ornament stayed on. Way to go WIFE!!!! Here’s Keizer at 20 weeks now.

BB+Kristen=baby (part 2)

Here are a few more. These first 2 are my personal absolute favorites. If you know bb and kristen, they LOVE football! Even though they are having a girl, she will play football. Ok, probably not, but she will be the first female NCAA head coach. Ok, probably not, but… here are the photos. Let me know what you think.

Hey guys. I had a photo session with my bro and sis-n-laws. Kristen is about to pop in a few weeks. We had an awesome time trying to figure out how to take these photos.
